"This blog was created originally for a class assignment in 2015, but I decided to keep it and revamp it a little. Not only did I want to keep a collection of my projects and experiences for my last year in college, I wanted a place to send potential employers or anyone that wanted to see my progression in my future field." Jaylaan is currently a senior Broadcast Communications major at South Carolina State University. She has plans to commission into the U.S. Army Reserves as a 2nd Lieutenant Signal Corps officer May 2017 through her University's ROTC program, but she still will be pursuing a civilian career. She is a proud native of the Holy City of Charleston, South Carolina where she was born and raised. This is where she discovered her love for music and radio through local arts programs and the involvement of her hometown station. Her dream is to eventually own her own radio station.
